Mr. O.P. Nambiar
Managing Director

Mr. O.P. Nambiar is a proven and experienced Chemical Engineer who brings nearly four decades of knowledge and expertise to CCI. He joined CCI in 1969 in the Northern Zone Office and since then has performed a variety of roles in the areas of technical design, project implementation, sales and marketing. He has specialized in the area of equipment design optimization especially in the Vegetable Oil Industry.

Mr. O.P. Nambiar completed his undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Science, Technology) from the University of Madras. He then earned a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Carnegie Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

Mr. Pradeep Varma
Director – Technical

Mr. Pradeep Varma joined CCI in 2002 and brings over 20 years of comprehensive expertise in the areas Project Engineering and Execution. Prior to joining CCI he worked for several years with Reliance Industries Limited and with BHEL (Bharat Heavy Electronics Limited), where he performed in a variety of roles in the fields of Bio-Diesel, Plasma Waste Gassification, Power & Utility systems for Petrochemical complexes and for Thermal & Gas Turbine-based Power Plants. Mr. Varma has specialized in the area of Bio-Diesel and has complete responsibility for engineering and implementation of CCI’s Bio-Diesel projects.

Mr. Pradeep Varma earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Regional Engineering College in Rourkela, India.

Mr. Ajay Nambiar
Director – Sales & Marketing

Mr. Ajay Nambiar combines a background in the construction industry along with 14 years of experience in Operations, Sales and Marketing. Prior to joining CCI in 2007, he worked with Honeywell Incorporated and Afilias Limited, where he has held a variety of roles focusing on Business Development and Operations, and has been instrumental in setting up new lines of business.

Mr. Ajay Nambiar earned his Masters in Architecture from Georgia Institute of Technology and his Masters in Business Administration from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.

Mr. Sunil Kumar
Finance Advisor

Mr. Sunil Kumar is a proven financial executive with more than 27 years of experience in the Manufacturing sector. He joined CCI in 1999 and has been instrumental in designing and implementing financial growth strategies. His focus has been in developing operational and bottom-line improvements.

Mr. Sunil Kumar completed his Bachelor in Commerce with Honors and his Masters in Business Administration from Delhi University. He has also earned his FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India.

Mr. G.K. Maheshwari
General Manager - Projects

Mr. G.K. Maheshwari is a Chemical Engineer with a comprehensive knowledge base and proven experience within the Solvent Extraction, Refining and Bio-Diesel Industry for the past 20 years. Mr. Maheshwari joined CCI in 2001 and has been responsible for managing all operational aspects of turnkey projects including procurement, project management and commissioning.

Mr. G.K. Maheshwari completed his Bachelors of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and subsequently earned his Masters in Chemical Engineering from IIT as well.

Mr. C.K. Dharman
General Manager - Projects

Mr. C.K. Dharman is a Mechanical Engineer with nearly 40 years of experience in the Solvent Extraction and Refining Industry. Mr. Dharman first joined CCI in 1968 and has held a variety of roles in his career from Factory Manager, Erection and Site Supervisor, and Project Manager, and has specialized expertise in the area of Fabrication of all types of Pressure and Non-Pressure Vessels for Solvent Extraction and Refining.

Mr. C.K. Dharman earned his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Sri Rama Polytechnic Institute, India.

Mr. S. Majithia
General Manager - Engineering

Mr. S. Majithia started his career in the Oils and Fats industry and for the past 40 years has worked in senior positions in the areas of Solvent Extraction, Refining, Vanaspati, Oil Mills and Co-generation units. He joined CCI in 2005 and is responsible for the complete oversight of the Engineering Design team and the Quality Control of all machinery and fabrication. He has specialized expertise in the areas of pre-shipment inspection and testing, and for all export related issues.

Mr. S. Majithia earned his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University and is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers, London, U.K.

Mr. M.N. Mohanan Nair
Head - Design Department

Mr. M.N. Mohanan Nair is a Mechanical Engineer and for the past 30 years has worked in senior positions in the Design and Engineering for Process Equipments. He first joined CCI in 1981 and since then has held a variety of roles ranging from Lead Designer to Design Superintendent. He is currently has full responsibility and oversight for the entire Design, Engineering and Drafting division.

Mr. M.N. Mohanan Nair earned his Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Technical Institute (ITI), Bangalore, India.

Mr. E.K. Haridas
Senior Technical Manager - Projects

Mr. E.K. Haridas started his career with CCI in 1970 and has extensive experience in the Solvent Extraction and Refining Industry. Mr. Haridas has held a variety of roles ranging from Erection, Fabrication and Site Supervisor, to that of Senior Project and Technical Manager. He has held complete responsibility for executing a number of international projects and has specialized expertise in the area of Pressure and Non-Pressure vessels within the industry.

Mr. E.K. Haridas earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Kerala University, India.

Mr. Balram Tyagi
Senior Project Executive

Mr. Balram Tyagi is a Chemical Engineer with extensive experience and knowledge in the Oil & Fats and Oleo-Chemical Industry. Prior to joining CCI in 2005, Mr. Tyagi worked for some of the leading companies in the Oils & Fats sector such as Oswal Agro Mills, Vee Kay Oil, Shree Ganesh Fats, Swastik Oleochem Limited, among others. He brings a strong background of executing projects and is currently responsible for managing all operational aspects of Turnkey projects in the areas of Bio-Diesel and Oils & Fats.

Mr. Balram Tyagi completed his Bachelor of Technology in the area of Chemistry from the Harcourt Butler Technology Institute (HBTI) in Kanpur, India. He subsequently earned his Master of Technology in the area of Oil Technology from HBTI as well.

Mr. M.D. Murthy
Senior Project Manager

Mr. M.D. Murthy is an Oil Technologist with significant experience in the Bio-Diesel, and Oils & Fats Industry. Mr. Murthy has worked with CCI since 1992 and has been responsible for managing all operational aspects of our turnkey projects from including project management, site supervision and commissioning.

Mr. M.D. Murthy earned both his Bachelor of Science in the area of Oil Technology and his Bachelor of Technology in Oils, Fats and Soaps from Andhra University, India.

Mr. K.V. Jacob
Senior Project Manager

Mr. K.V. Jacob has worked with CCI since 1989 and has extensive experience in the Solvent Extraction and Refining Industry. Prior to joining CCI, Mr. Jacob worked J.B. Solvent as a Plant Manager and since then, has been involved in a variety of roles from Site Supervisor to Project Manager in a number of different countries. He brings a strong background in Solvent Extraction and Refining Industry and has specialized expertise in the fabrication of all types of Pressure vessels and in the Erection/ Commissioning of plants.

Mr. K.V. Jacob earned his Diploma in the area of Mechanical Engineering from Calicut University, India.
